A fast website is important to have success on the net - the more so as search engines like Google today use the page layout speed as an increasingly important parameter for the ranking. And if a page loads too long, the customer is so fast at the next provider. But with Wordpress Rocket, you are free from such worries.
A properly configured WordPress is actually quite fast from home, but there are still some " tuning options " such as caching and compressing static files (layout information - css or script files), which then still a bit speed out.

The results on the example Pingdom show that the page needed 2.25 seconds for loading, generated 69 queries and 880 kB data called - the site has a lot of pictures in the blog area.
GTmetrix displayed 68 queries and 1.22MB data transfer.
Installation and Configuration of WP-Rocket
Then WP-Rocket was installed on the website of the SCD in the WordPress baking and the configuration incl. Test of the functions was carried out. Also some special functions have been added for some functions which should not be stored in the cache.
The whole thing was - including tests - in a manageable time frame of about 1 hour. done.
The result of the optimization with WP-Rocket convinces
As a result, it can be stated that the site - despite a large number of embedded images on the start page with about 15 blog entries - were already "felt" faster.
And the measured values then convinced all the more.
In Pingdom, the site now only needs 0.64 seconds to load, only generating 43 queries and polling 640 KB of data. The load time was thus more than 70% faster and the data volumes and queries were reduced significantly.
In GTmetrix, only 35 queries were now displayed and 0.61 MB data transfer displayed. This means that these values were over 50% better than before.
And also the PerfomanceSores increased by more than 20%.
